Shantel Thomas, CMT is a clinically trained myofascial therapy expert, member of the National Association of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists, and American Massage Therapy Association. She completed her psychology studies at University of California Riverside and massage therapy studies at National Holistic Institute. Additionally, She is the founder and owner of The Method Bodyworks (massage practice); has treated professional athletes within the National Basketball Association and National Football League.
Over the past 7 years, Shantel served as a member of the body regeneration team for the SF 49ers, where she received extensive training in rehabilitative practices such as myofascial release and neuromuscular re-education techniques. Shantel’s massage therapy practices employ a balance of different healing styles, combining Eastern & Western modalities that are attuned to her client’s needs. She has developed her massage therapy practice in order to relieve patients of myofascial pain-dysfunction, alleviate their stress, and enhance their healing processes. She has a tremendous passion for helping people improve their quality of life through promotion of various manual therapies and assisted stretch techniques.
